About Us

Teal Run "Tidalwaves" swim team is a wonderful example of community spirit and the joy of sports. TRST is a volunteer-run organization that has been making waves by offering children aged 4 to 18 a chance to dive into competitive swimming. Every summer, from May to early July, the Teal Run Pool comes alive with the energy and enthusiasm of young swimmers striving for personal bests, fostering a sense of teamwork and healthy competition. It's a tradition that not only builds athletic skills but also creates lasting memories and friendships. What a fantastic way to spend the summer!

Swim teams offer a fantastic opportunity for young swimmers to refine their current skills in the water. With dedicated coaches focusing on the four keystrokes: Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke, and Butterfly. Swimmers can develop their technique and build their confidence. The journey from being comfortable in the water to mastering the full length of the pool is both challenging and rewarding. It's not just about learning to swim; it's about embracing the sport, the discipline, and the joy of gliding through the water with ease and speed!
